Nicholas R. Lange, Esq.
About Nicholas
Working from the firm’s Illinois office, Nicholas specializes his practice in complex class actions on behalf of consumers, with a focus on data privacy class actions. Nicholas also has experience representing shareholders in securities fraud class actions. Previously, Nicholas has litigated all manners of civil claims, such as fraud, tort, breach of contract, fiduciary duties, and corporate matters, including fights between common interest associations, developers, insurers, and municipalities. What draws Nicholas to class litigation specifically is the potential to single-handedly compel a behemoth company— which would otherwise continue to act above the law— to change its conduct and compensate those it has wronged.
When not combating corporate malfeasance, Nicholas enjoys cooking “fancy food”, as his friends say, gardening, running and lifting, and spending time with his family outdoors.
Nicholas is a Chicago native and studied English and Philosophy at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign (B.S. 2011) and law at the DePaul University College of Law (J.D. 2014, Cum Laude). He was admitted to practice in the State of Illinois in 2014 and was admitted into the Northern District of Illinois in 2016, District of Colorado in 2020, and Southern District of Illinois in 2020. As recognition for his class action work, Nicholas received the Super Lawyers Rising Star award for 2023 (Class Action/Mass Torts).
